Course overview

The Arabic Course offers a structured path to help students read, understand, and communicate in Arabic for both Islamic and everyday use. Learners move step by step from the alphabet and correct pronunciation to building vocabulary, grammar, and simple conversation, with lessons tailored separately for kids and adults. Through live online classes, interactive activities, and continuous practice, the course strengthens reading of Quranic and Modern Standard Arabic while building real confidence using the language in daily life.

Curriculum and structure

  • Beginner level: Learn the Arabic alphabet, sounds, basic reading and writing, simple words, and everyday phrases about self, family, and daily life.
  • Intermediate/advanced levels: Build stronger grammar, sentence structure, and vocabulary, moving into paragraphs, short texts, and topics related to studies, work, and Islamic content.
  • Reading and writing skills, numbers, masculine/feminine forms, pronouns, common verbs, and essential sentence patterns for questions and answers.
  • Thematic vocabulary (home, school, masjid, time, food, feelings), plus basic comprehension of short Quranic or Islamic texts and Modern Standard Arabic dialogues.
  • Live online lessons (often 30–45 minutes) mixing speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with separate pacing and activities for kids and adults.

  • Regular exercises, small quizzes, and revision cycles so students steadily progress through each level before moving to the next stage of the Arabic Course.

Teachers and teaching style

Teachers

The Arabic Course is taught by qualified native or near‑native Arabic teachers who specialize in teaching Arabic to non‑native speakers, including children and adults at all levels. They combine clear pronunciation, strong grammar knowledge, and an understanding of Islamic and everyday contexts, so students learn authentic, useful Arabic they can actually use.

Teaching style

Teaching style is interactive and communicative, with live one‑to‑one or small‑group sessions that balance speaking, listening, reading, and writing in every lesson. Teachers use child‑friendly activities for younger learners and more structured conversation and text work for teens and adults, while adapting pace and materials to each student’s goals and learning style.

How online Tajweed session works

  • Greet the student in Arabic and revise last lesson’s words or sentences with quick Q&A or a short reading.

  • Correct pronunciation and remind key phrases so the student “switches” into Arabic mode.
  • Introduce a small, focused topic: a mini set of vocabulary (e.g. family, colors) or one grammar point (e.g. simple nominal sentence).

  • Model pronunciation, show 2–3 example sentences, and have the student repeat and build similar sentences.
  • Use the new language in a short dialogue, role‑play, game, or reading of a very short text, depending on level and age.

  • Encourage the student to speak in full sentences, answer simple questions, and listen to short Arabic prompts.
  • Summarize what was learned and ask the student to say or read the key phrases one more time.

  • Assign small homework (e.g. write three sentences, record a 30‑second intro, or review flashcards) so progress continues between 30‑minute sessions.
